Jane LaCombe, President
Jane is a 25-year veteran of the Houston marketing and graphic design community, in both agency and corporate marketing positions. As President of Xenn Creative, she guides decision making for business, marketing and operational strategy, including developing positioning, maintaining profitability and guiding future direction and growth of the company.
Her ability to see the big picture and make things happen has enabled Jane to cement lifelong working relationships with her many clients. As Senior Vice President at Easterly, Jane directed the account management group and served on the Senior Management team, which was responsible for guiding the company. Jane has managed marketing projects for national and international clients such as American Airlines, Baker Hughes, Noble Energy, Brinker International, Quanta Services and BMC Software, among many others. During her 11 years at Pegasus Design, most recently as Executive Vice President, Operations, she was responsible for both account and creative project management. Prior to that, she spent 7 years in marketing and communications at BJ Services Company. Jane is a cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA in Marketing/Advertising.
Mark Moore, Executive Creative Director
Mark Moore has been studying and working in the design sphere since 1978. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Advertising, he began his career in the graphics department at the renowned 3D International, a Houston-based architectural firm. His first assignment, a logo design for The Women’s Auxiliary to the American Institute of Architects, was accepted into the New York Art Directors Show and The Communications Arts Design Annual.
Since then, his work has garnered praise, won awards and consistently been recognized in other prestigious design competitions, including AR 100. As Creative Director at Xenn, Mark understands how design can be used not only to advertise, but more importantly, to communicate. He responds to what a client needs to say and finds unique ways to say it, helping to create an indelible brand. He has designed projects for Sysco, Boeing, Weatherford, MD Anderson and Transocean, among others. Before becoming a principal at Xenn, he was Creative Director at Easterly for 15 years, and he previously honed his design skills at the prestigious firms of Herring Design, Lowell Williams Design and Savage Design.
Kari Spence, Senior Vice President
Kari has 19 years’ experience in marketing and communications working with advertising agencies, design firms and direct corporate clients. As an account executive, Kari has managed multiple marketing and investor relations campaigns for clients such as Sysco Foods, MetroBank, Encore Bank, W&T Offshore and many others. Previously, she launched her own business managing and representing 27 nationally-acclaimed creative talent in both Dallas and Denver.
Her client list included Coors, Hewlett-Packard, US Air Force and Pepsi/Frito Lay. Client-focused and deadline-driven, Kari turns clients into her biggest fans. Kari is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a BFA in Design/Advertising.
Greg Barr, Creative Services Director
An accomplished graphic design professional with 20 years of experience managing creative design, advertising, marketing and brand development projects, Greg has produced successful collateral pieces for The Boeing Company, Weatherford International, Sysco Corporation, the Men’s Wearhouse, Luby’s, Quanta Services and the Houston Zoo, among others.
As Creative Services Director at Xenn, he is the bridge between the creative idea and the finished piece, Greg’s mastery of production techniques and his dedication to customer service ensure seamless project completion. A native Houstonian, Greg graduated from Sam Houston State University and returned to Houston with a degree in Advertising and Graphic Design. Three years with The Houston Press taught Greg how to tame wild deadlines, a skill that served well in his nine years as production manager at Easterly.
Darin Coin, Interactive Consultant
Darin consults on designing and integrating enterprise-level websites, online publications and corporate video and animation. Darin has 20 years’ experience in the Houston advertising market, bringing his traditional design background to bear on interactive media projects in his unique visionary style.
Previously, Darin served as Senior Vice President at Easterly, and Senior Art Director at IDEA Integration Interactive, providing interactive solutions for clients like HP, Microsoft and Intel. Throughout his career, his work has been consistently recognized for excellence, including awards from the Art Director’s Club of Houston, the Houston Ad Federation and the Houston Marketing Association. He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a degree in Advertising/Graphic Design.
